Apostle Dr. Gay Owens was born in the island of Kingston Jamaica, to the parents of Joan Wallace and the late John Owens. Gay migrated to the U.S.A at the tender age of twelve. Later she received her calling at the age of 23. Since then, she ventured out on her purpose in pursuing destiny.

Dr. Owens was baptized at All Nations Apostolic Church, where she became active in many areas of the ministry, namely, the Evangelism team. There she displayed a great passion for souls, the zeal of the Lord’s House had eaten her up. Later Dr. Owens transitioned to International Evangelical Mission Ministries, under the leadership of the late Bishop Dr. Denzil F. Cameron (Hephzibah). There she was appointed as Missionary, and later in 2007 was ordained an Evangelist. From there on she began her pursuit in Biblical Studies at The Manhattan Bible Institute, The New Greater Bethel Bible Institute, and Canon University in Florida. There she acquired several certificates and degrees, which includes a certificate as a Marriage Officiant in the State of New York City.

In 2008. Apostle Owens started a prayer meeting in her home, one year later, in December of 2009 she was inspired to begin the Church. While in prayer she received the name of the Church, “Apostolic Faith Pentecostal” A Tabernacle of Healing for the Whole Man.

Apostle Owens is a “Fire Brand” with a very unusual and peculiar Grace, (1Corinthians 4:20) (For the Kingdom of God is not in word, but in power) she’s one who has a mandate to bring nations back to God, through preaching and teaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ coupled, with demonstrations of miracles, signs, and wonders. Apostle Owens is also called a “mother of diverse nations” because of her love for souls. Apostle Owens is an Author, “World Changer, humanitarian, and a Revolutionist, re-connecting the destiny of many through the Word of God and in the power of His Holy Spirit.

In April 14th 2013, Gay was affirmed to her office as an Apostle with evident and notable signs of miracles. Of the said year and date an honorary PhD in Church planting

(Apostolic Ministries) was conferred upon her from CKU in Douala, Cameroon.

Currently, Apostle Owens is based in Philadelphia Pa. where she was mandated in August of 2014. There she gave birth to (A.F.I.C) Apostolic Faith International Church, and A.F.I. Schools For Ministry (AFISM). AFISM has ran its course for 6 years in equipping the called man.

On January 2018 Apostle Owens launched (W.O.R.D) Woman of Royal Destiny, another arm of the ministry. W.O.R.D focuses on the “Called out ones.” she is the Ecclesia 1 Pet.2:9, she is the elect of God 1 Pet. 2:9. She is seated in heavenly places Eph. 2:6. She’s the mother of all living Gen. 3:20. The chaste virgin of Christ 2 Cor. 11:2; and the Pearl of great price Matt. 13:45-46.

In the Seventh year of our Lord, AFISM gave birth to Apostolic Faith International University (aka, AFIU.) Apostle Owens is now completing her books titled “The Healer” and “Woman of Royal Destiny Volume 2.

Her aim and determination is to continue to work for the Lord. Training and Equipping the called man for greater exploits, making disciples of men to be champions of faith in the Kingdom of God.

Limarie Lewis was born in the city of Philadelphia and received her Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood/Special Education from LaSalle University.  Her love for teaching the youth through creative and fun lesson plans translated through her work alongside different professionals in Philadelphia from William Penn Charter to Creative & Performing Arts High School. Limarie was baptized at Lilly of Valley, a sister church to Mt. Zion Apostolic Church where she later served under the leadership of Bishop Gearld Oden & Pastor Dorothy Oden as an Usher and Sunday School Teacher for the youth ranging in ages 3-14 years old.

Her love for Jesus and educating the youth through creative arts did not stop in education but continued into areas of spoken word poetry where her husband, Elder Anthony Lewis produced her first album titled “Deep Thoughts Defined” and she later became a full figured model and women’s empowerment writer/editor and speaker.  Limarie later became a minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ at Apostolic Faith International Church under the leadership of Apostle Dr. Gay Owens and serves as Bursar at Apostolic Faith International Schools for Ministry, now AFIU.  She has also served as one of the Professors of the school, teaching General Bible 1 and continues to serve as an administrative assistant at Apostolic Faith International Church.

Prophet Bridgette Johnson is a ministry gift that operates under the fivefold Apostolically and Prophetically. She operates under a strong grace to expound the Word of God through Revelation, Preaching, and Teaching. She has studied through several Colleges and Biblical Courses at the following Institutions; New York Institute of Technology, Berean Bible Institute, New York Theological Seminary, and Apostolic Faith International University.

Prophet Bridgette has been teaching prophetic training for several years as well as other biblical studies. She has been teaching the Prophetic and the Family & Marriage course for Apostolic Faith International University for several years.

As the founder of several ministries that are now operating under the umbrella Bridge Builders International Ministries, Prophet Bridgette has impacted the lives of individuals Through various platforms of Speaking Engagements, Conferences, Prayer Initiatives, Bible Studies, Teleconferences, Social Media Platforms and Cruises.  Gathering many to bring them into the presence of God by establishing Prophetic Prayer Gatherings consisting of strong worship, the word of God, and the manifested power of God through signs and wonders.  Prophet Bridgette has spearheaded several Prayer Cruise initiatives on the Hudson River aboard the Spirit of New York, The Bateau, and The Atlantica.  In 2018, she launched W.O.W. 2K18.  The W.O.W. 2K18 is the acronym for Worship on Water. The W.O.W 2K18 consisted of a two-day intensive on Prophetic Worship and concluded with a Worship Gathering aboard the Atlantica Boat, one of fleets on the Spirit Cruise lines in New York City.  In November of 2018, she started a Midnight Facebook Live entitled, “ The Encounter 52.”

The Encounter 52 has ignited many to rekindle their passion for God. The Live Broadcast gave Divine insight, direction, healing and deliverance to those that was bound and wounded. Many individuals who faithfully viewed the nightly broadcast testified of the deliverance, and Encouragement they have received during the 52 Days.  As a result of the live broadcast, many Doors of ministry and opportunities have opened to travel extensively in the United States, Africa, and the Caribbean Islands. With the favor of God upon her life, she has been on several Media platforms such as Church Talk Radio, The Repairer of the Breach Broadcast, Majesty Television Broadcast, The Word Network, and Impact Television Network. Prophet Bridgette is one who enjoys ministering to God’s people and seeing individuals free and Liberated through the Power of God and the Living Word of Truth.
